Welcome to Saint John’s Missionary Baptist Church of Durham, NC. It is with a spirit of thanksgiving and praise I welcome you to this website. I am deeply grateful and excited how God has blessed this light house to shine its beams across the land. The St. John’s Church family was planted in the Walltown community 102 years ago by men and women who had a vision. Our forefathers saw the need to minister to peoples’ needs.
Today, I want to say “thank you” to the members who are yet sacrificing and serving the Lord and others from their hearts. Let us continue to keep the faith. Let us not be weary in well doing for we shall reap if we faint not.

Easter Egg Hunt
St. John's is hosting an Easter Egg hunt for the children! The hunt will start at 4pm, hot dogs served afterwards. We are still looking for volunteers - please contact the church secretary if you can volunteer.

MEN'S MINISTRY MEETINGS
A Men’s Ministry Team Leaders Meeting will be held on Monday evening May 7th, 2012 at 6:30 pm. The location will be the senior classroom of the education wing. All other men are also invited to attend this meeting. Please be on time and seated no later than 6:25 pm for this brief, yet import meeting. Also, please bring note taking material.
On the following Saturday (May 12th, 2012 at 10:00 am) All men are asked to attend this meeting. The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall. The main task of this meeting is to generate an agenda for Mens month. Please bring pen, paper and ideas.
